One Week In

Last Saturday night marked the end of the first week of Beards 2003. As it happens it was also Himley bonfire, so we took the opportunity of the get together to take some photos of the progress to date. Mike and myself had agreed to go the entire week with no trimming at all, and to be fair, the results are pretty good.

There's not much in it when it comes down to length, but Mike should get extra points because his is red. To the surprise of everyone, Al has taking part and is sporting a goatee. Due to work restrictions, Phil has gone for a couple of days worth of stubble. You can view a group shot here.

Also, if you go here, you can see Phil looking a bit concerned at the fact Mike isn't too sure how to use his new beard trimmer. I'm not quite sure what Al's suggestion is here though, on where Mike should use the newly acquired trimmer.

The fireworks at Himley were pretty good, so I had a go at taking some pictures of that too. However, this is about the only half decent shot that came out. Watch out for more photo updates regarding the beard progress. Once I've got some more pics and a bit more time I'll put a gallery up on the photo page.
