Fresh New Life
Over one month has passed since I returned from America, and it's been quite an eventful period. Getting used to life back home has taken a bit of time; it's so quiet and mundane compared to what I've been used to over the summer.
As some of you know, the whole experience has led me to a complete change of personal direction for the future. Gone is the computer programming route, which has been firmly replaced with a desire to teach. For several weeks I've been searching through university courses that will provide me with the necessary degree qualification to become a teacher, specifically in PE. The completion of my UCAS form has also taken a while, but that will be finalised after I visit Worcester Uni tomorrow to discuss my course selection.
Once the uni application's out of the way, I can concentrate on completing the remainder of the American series entries I promised - don't worry, I haven't forgotten.
Hi Andy
welcome back! thanks for all you messages over the last few months. Great to hear that you have decided to go with teaching, that too seems to be the path I too wish to pursue! I'm sure you may have looked but Pershore Group Colleges/Holme Lacy College do a degree in Outdoor Recreation - if not check it out on their website!
Perhaps I shall see you in 2005?
kindest regards Teresa
