Cold Water
I know, I know, it's been a while. Again. Despite my claim in a previous entry that I'd be posting more often, I've admittedly been rubbish (even more so than my usual standards). So, I'll now attempt to bring you all up to speed.
First off, I'm well and truly back at uni and the work's starting to materialize now. I just need to work out which assignment to start first! I've also moved to Worcester, not quite exclusively, as I'm dividing my time between 'the mansion' and home, with a move from 'the mansion' to 'the river house' taking place at the end of November.
For those of you following the saga involving my foot injury, it's still not fixed. Hence I'm currently sitting with my foot in a bowl of iced water as I write this. I can tell you, it's cold! But, it's part of the process recommended by a sports injury guy who's been treating me for the last few weeks. He needs to start working some magic though, it's incredibly frustrating not being able to run at the moment. Talking of which, I hope the stories I've been hearing from people who apply to enter the London Marathon are true - that it takes a few years of applying before you are accepted. Last week I applied to enter. So I'm hoping I don't get in for next April as I won't have been able to do much training!
Well, it's time to remove my foot from it's arctic surrounding and spend the rest of the night trying to get some warmth back into it. I'll really try not to leave it so long next time. Promise.
