Win one for the reaper

Today is the last time I'll spend in the river house for a while as we move to a new abode as flood repairs are carried out. It's typical too that as I write this, rain is hammering down on the roof, which highlights one of the reasons I'll miss being here. Not to mention the view from my window.

However, I won't miss ready meals. With no cooking facilities since the flood I've had to endure these horrible plastic delicacies, been embarrassed at loitering around the ready meal section in Tesco hoping that people don't think I'm a slob and come to hate the sound as I 'pierce the film lid.' I like cooking and I'm looking forward to getting back to it, but maybe I will miss food being ready in 10 minutes!
