Pap Rage
I've decided it's time to vent my anger and frustration at how some singers/bands manage to ever get noticed by some dumbass music company, let alone get into the Top 40! My main rant here is against Blazin' Squad (sorry no link here, I utterly refuse to even find out if they have a website) who at last count consisted of approx. 27 members with an average age of 11. Somehow they're in the charts this week at number 28 with "We just be dreamin'". Now, I will admit that I have not only heard this "song" but also seen the video. When I noticed it on one of the 157 music channels now available, I just had to watch it as it was hilarious! I think that if I wasn't laughing so hard at these bunch of muppets, I'd be crying at how such utter rubbish as this is keeping quality music from becoming mainstream.
Hopefully, Blazin' Squad and their "we just be dreamin' ('bout the time some YTS music exec. heard our trash 'n decided to give us a contract, before someone stepped in 'n asked just who was looking after the little YTS kid)" will soon be no more and end up going the same way as Hear'say, One True Voice, Steps and all the other manufactured crap that is out there. Another thing, just look at the charts and see how many acts feat. this, vs. that, presents so and so.
It's utter crap so get rid of it!

Too Much Time
Sometimes I find that too much time on your hands is a bad thing, I seem to get less things done when I haven't really got a deadline to work for. I have been working behind the scenes though and experimenting with frames for a new layout for the site, but I'm not sure if I like it. I might put it up if I manage to convince myself that it looks half decent.
I've also be having a look at Movable Type so I can use weblogs, but btopenworld don't allow custom cgi scripts. So I'm thinking of getting my own domain name and a different host.
Also, I went to see Ezio last night at the Robin which was FANTASTIC! I strongly recommend you go see them if they appear at a venue near you!
Some new links have also been added for your enjoyment, courtesy of Mart.

Completion
Well folks, I've FINALLY finished my project!! That's now a big weight off my shoulders and I can now concentrate on err...
oh yeah, revising for my exams at the start of August! I won't be catching up on all the films I've been meaning to watch, that have now piled up to epic proportions! I'm not going to deny that I will be reading Order of the Phoenix over the next few days.
